Hands holding hand-rolled cinnamon quills; botanical name Cinnamomum verum, origin Sri Lanka, grade Continental C5

Same Sri Lanka. Not the same grade.

Sri Lanka grades cinnamon by how thin the quill is. C5 comes from tender shoots with tight, paper-thin layers. Thick H grade comes from older, coarser bark.

Comparison table: C5 Ceylora versus H grade Quill diameter: C5 up to 12 mm, H grade about 17 to 32 mm

Mildly sweet. Never pungent.

Finer quills mean more thin layers, and a smoother, gentler flavour in every cup.

Why grade C5: finer quills, more thin layers Taste and aroma: smooth, never harsh, warm rich aroma
